Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sauerkraut (cut short)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. grated carrots
    1/4 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Sprinkle sugar over sauerkraut and allow to stand 1/2 hour. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover well and allow to set 24 hours in refrigerator before serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
    Keeps well for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
