Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin
    1 c. hot water
    2 (10 oz.) strawberries, thawed
    3 firm, ripe mashed bananas
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (pulp and juice)
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over gelatin.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add crushed pineapple, pulp and juice.
    This will cool the gelatin enough to add strawberries, bananas and pecans.
    Mix well and pour into individual molds or oblong molds.
    Refrigerate to congeal. Top with whip cream.
