Cheesy Ham Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. French-cut green beans
4 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. chopped, cooked ham
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. herb flavored croutons, slightly crushed
Preparation

Cook beans; drain and reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter.
Saute onion.
Stir in flour and salt until blended.
Remove from heat; stir in milk and reserved 1/2 cup liquid.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Remove from heat; stir in ham, eggs, cheese, pimento and parsley.
Place beans in baking dish and cover with ham sauce. Sprinkle crumbs over top.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
