Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour (self-rising or add 1/2 tsp. soda and 1/2 tsp. salt)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini size preferred)
Preparation
    Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Set oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream sugar, margarine and vanilla.
    Add egg.
    Stir in flour, then oats. Spread into pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 24.
