Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. broccoli stems, cut
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. half and half
    1 1/2 c. finely cut broccoli buds
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Combine broccoli stems, chicken broth, and onion in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil and cook 10 minutes.
    Add bouillon cubes and cook until dissolved.
    Strain and set broth aside.
