Blackberry Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. blackberries (ripe and slightly green)
    1 pt. water
    sugar
Preparation
    Wash berries and boil in the 1 pint water for 15 minutes. Strain through jelly bag.
    Four cups juice to 3 cups sugar.
    Cook until jelly flakes off of spoon.
    Skim and pour into jars.
    (Cover with paraffin if you wish.)
    Seal with hot rings and lids.
