Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cold milk
    2 c. hot milk
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix corn meal and salt; combine with cold milk and stir until smooth.
    Add to hot milk and cook until thickened (about 5 minutes, stirring constantly).
    Beat eggs; add small amount of cooked mixture; blend, then add remainder of cooked mixture and butter. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
    Makes 6 servings.
