Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Make a paste of the cocoa and coloring.
    Sift the dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture and cocoa; mix alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla, soda and vinegar last.
    Pour into two greased and floured cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
