Spice 'N Applesauce Snack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. spice cake (Duncan Hines)
1/4 c. Crisco oil
2 eggs
1 can (16 oz.) applesauce

Preparation

Prepare topping:
In small bowl, stir 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces; spread over batter.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
