Ingredients

1 1/8 cups butter or margarine (1 stick + 2 Tbsp.)
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/8 cups all purpose flour
1 cup confectioners' sugar
Preparation

Cream 1/2 cup + 1 tsp. confectioners' sugar and butter or margarine together.
Add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour making a stiff dough.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease cookie sheets.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Mix together 1 cup confectioners' sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Roll in cinnamon mixture.
Bake
for 15 to 20 minutes, until nicely browned. Cool cookies on rack.
Makes 2 dozen.
