Oatmeal Cake(Rich And Moist) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. margarine
    3/4 to 1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 to 1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 2/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour water over oats and let stand 20 minutes. Cream the sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add oats and dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. While warm, spread with icing.
