Honeyed Chicken With Oranges - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large navel oranges
6 chicken breasts, skinned
1 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. honey
2 to 3 drops hot pepper sauce
2 Tbsp. minced ginger root
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Peel and slice oranges.
Cut slices into 4 wedges; set aside. Cut chicken into 3/4-inch pieces.
Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add chicken pieces; stir-fry over medium heat until firm and white, 3 to 4 minutes.
Add orange juice, honey, hot pepper sauce and ginger, if desired.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Combine cornstarch and water.
Stir into chicken mixture until thickened, 30 to 60 seconds.
Add orange wedges.
Stir until hot.
Serve over rice.
