Spicy Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box spice cake mix
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. finely chopped dates

Preparation

Combine cake mix and soda, then proceed by package directions, substituting pumpkin for 1/2 the liquid.
Fold in dates and nuts. Bake as directed. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
