Ingredients

9-inch baked pie crust or crumb crust
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. chocolate, melted, or 1 envelope liquid chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Preparation

Beat butter until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar and beat well.
Add chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition at high speed.
Fill crust and chill at least 2 hours.
Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip and chopped nuts or shaved chocolate.
