Edna'S See'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large can evaporated milk
4 1/2 c. sugar
3 small pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 pt. marshmallow cream
1/2 lb. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2 c. finely chopped walnuts or other nuts

Preparation

Boil sugar and evaporated milk together for 8 minutes (start count after comes to a rolling boil).
Remove from heat; add chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, margarine, vanilla and salt. Stir until thick.
Add chopped nuts.
Pour into large buttered cookie sheet.
Put in refrigerator for 1 hour, then cut into squares.
