The Impeccable Pig'S Vanilla Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 can warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    vanilla to taste
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Stir in sugar, salt and beaten egg.
    Add vanilla.
    Place shortening in bread bowl.
    Pour yeast mixture over and mix with spoon.
    Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time and mix until somewhat sticky dough is formed.
    Turn out onto floured surface.
    Roll out to 1/4-inch.
    Cut with biscuit cutter. Place in baking sheet.
    Pat with melted butter and fold in half. Pinch closed.
    Let rise until double, about 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
