Deviled Lamb Shanks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lamb shanks (1 lb. each)
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small diced onion
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1 large diced carrot
    3/4 c. dry red wine
    3/4 c. beef broth
    1 (26 oz.) jar spicy simmer sauce
    cooked wide noodles or mashed potatoes
    parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Season lamb shanks with salt and pepper. Coat shanks with flour.
