Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    3/4 c. butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. cornflake crumbs
Preparation
    Cook potatoes with skin on.
    Peel and slice potatoes thinly into buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    In small saucepan, mix together 1/2 cup butter, soup, cheese, onions and sour cream. Stir over low heat just until heated through and pour over potatoes.
    In small skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter and add cornflake crumbs.
    Mix well.
    Sprinkle crumb mixture over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bubbly.
