Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. soft shortening, use part margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well.
Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full of batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 12 (2-inch) muffins or 36 small muffins.
