Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, torn into small pieces
    1 red onion, separated into rings
    1 green pepper, sliced in rings
    3 boiled eggs, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Layer the first 7 ingredients in order given in a clear glass bowl (for eye appeal).
    Mix the mayonnaise and sour cream. Spread on top. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving.
