Holiday Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread, buttered on both sides
    2 c. milk
    6 eggs
    1 lb. bacon, ham or sausage, cooked
    8 to 12 oz. grated cheese (Cheddar, Swiss or American)
Preparation
    Place bread in bottom and up sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan (cut slices for sides).
    Combine milk and eggs.
    Beat.
    Pour over bread.
    Put meat and cheese mix on top; push bread into mixture to saturate.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Remove cover and push bread into mixture again before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Serves 5 to 8 adults.
