Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sliced raw potatoes
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 chopped onion
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Combine together soup, onion, milk, salt and pepper.
    In a greased 2-quart casserole dish, layer 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 soup mixture and 1/2 sausage.
    Repeat again, ending with sausage.
    Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over top.
    Return to oven until cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
    Yields 5 to 6 servings.
