Quick Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak
1/2 c. butter
6 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can beef broth
1 c. sour cream
2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Trim fat from meat.
Cut meat diagonally across grain in strips 1/4-inch wide.
Brown quickly in butter.
Push meat to one side. Add mushrooms and onion.
Cook just until tender.
Add broth.
Heat to boiling.
Blend sour cream and flour.
Stir into broth.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
Season to taste.
Serve over hot buttered noodles.
Serves 4 or 5.
