Lemon Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon or lime jello
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 lemon (juice and grated rind)
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk, chilled well
    2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add sugar, lemon juice and grated rind.
    Chill mixture until congealed; beat until fluffy. Beat well chilled milk until stiff.
    Add to jello mixture.
    Spread half of crumbs in the bottom of a 7 x 9-inch pan.
    Add mixture. Top with remaining crumbs.
