Holiday Delight Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    3/4 c. thin cream
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 lb. candied cherries
    1/4 lb. candied pineapple
    1/4 lb. Brazil nuts
    1/4 lb. English walnuts
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and cream.
    Place over low heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Cook to soft ball stage.
    Beat about 8 minutes or until thick and light color.
    Add vanilla, fruit and nuts gradually.
    Mixture will be thick and sticky.
    Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
    Let cool 24 hours until firm.
    Wrap in foil.
