Skillet Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. stuffing mix
    1 small onion chopped
    1 egg
    1 can (11 1/8 oz.) condensed Italian tomato soup, divided
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine beef, stuffing mix, onion, egg 1/4 c. soup and salt.
    Mix well.
    Shape into 4 oval patties about 1/2 inch thick.
    Heat the oil in medium skillet over medium heat.
    Add patties and brown on both sides; drain if necessary.
    Meanwhile, stir the water into remaining soup and pour over patties.
    Reduce the heat to medium- low, cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes, or until no pink remains in beef.
    Stir the sauce occasionally.
    Serve mashed potatoes on top.
    Serves 4.
