Lemon Pie With Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Bake pie
    shell.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in milk; cook until
    thick.
    Stir
    in egg yolks and cook a little longer. Add
    lemon
    juice,
    rind
    and
    butter.
    Cool, pour in baked pie shell.
    Spread meringue (3 egg whites beaten with 6 tablespoons sugar).
    Bake until light brown at 400\u00b0.
