Quick Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    pinch of salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients except nuts and vanilla until a ball forms when tested in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add nuts and vanilla.
    Beat until thick.
    Pour into a buttered pan and let cool. Cut in squares.
