Cookie Jar Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. molasses
Preparation

Measure, sift flour,
ginger,
soda,
salt and cinnamon together.
In another bowl, cream shortening and sugar together. Beat in egg and molasses.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Form into small balls of
dough
by
rolling lightly between hands. Roll in granulated sugar.
Place
2
inches
apart on a cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
