Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box seedless raisins
    1/4 lb. margarine
    3 tsp. soda
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Mix raisins, margarine, soda, boiling water and vanilla.
    Let stand 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
    When cool, add flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and eggs.
    Butter and flour four coffee cans.
    Pour batter 1/2 full.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Wrap in foil as soon as cool.
    For muffins, check at 45 minutes.
