Stuffed Green Pepper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green peppers
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/2 c. water
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Cut stem and top from each pepper and remove core and seeds. Saute onion until lightly browned.
    Mix together the hamburger, onion, salt, rice and 1/2 can of the soup.
    Fill peppers with mixture and place in pan.
    Mix remaining soup and water and pour over peppers.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Uncover and place bacon on top.
    Cook until bacon browns.
