Three Cheese Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. wide noodles
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    3 c. cut-up chicken (2 large breasts)
    2 c. shredded American cheese
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (6 oz.) can mushroom pieces
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
Preparation
    Cook and drain the noodles.
    To make the sauce, melt the butter or margarine and cook the onions and green pepper for 2 minutes.
    Add the soup, milk, drained mushrooms, basil and pimento.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and layer in this order: 1/2 of the noodles, 1/2 of the cottage cheese, 1/2 of the chicken, 1/2 of the American cheese, 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese and 1/2 of the sauce.
    Repeat.
    Save a little of the Parmesan cheese to sprinkle over the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes uncovered.
    Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
