Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Break up sausage in frying pan.
    Cook 8 to 10 minutes (do not brown).
    Pour boiling water over cornmeal; put in drained sausage. Beat eggs; add milk and salt.
    Combine with sausage mixture.
    Add shortening and baking powder.
    Stir well.
    Pour into a 2-quart casserole; bake at 375\u00b0 for one hour.
    Serves 8.
