Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine and allow to cool before combining with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and cake mix; mix well.
    Place half the batter in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 5 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0 until puffy, but not done.
    Melt caramels and remaining evaporated milk in saucepan; blend well and set aside.
    Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over batter in pan; drizzle caramel mixture over top.
    Carefully drop and spread remaining batter over top.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 10 servings.
