Quick Chicken Marengo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boneless chicken breasts
    1 pepper, sliced
    1 onion, diced
    1 can mushrooms, sliced
    1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
    cooked rice
    wine (optional)
    vegetable oil
    garlic clove
Preparation
    Slice chicken breasts and brown in 2 tablespoons hot oil and garlic clove.
    Set aside.
    Saute onions, peppers and mushrooms until tender and add chicken.
    Add tomato sauce and 1/2 cup wine, if desired.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Serve over bed of rice.
