Cheddar Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks or 1 c. unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper to taste
    2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Mix butter and grated cheese until light and fluffy.
    Add flour gradually.
    Add salt and cayenne pepper and blend well.
    Add cereal and blend.
    Take 1 teaspoon and roll into a ball.
    Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
    Flatten each with floured fork. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden.
    Keep in airtight container 1 week or may be frozen.
    Great for hors d'oeuvres.
