Ingredients

1 lb. red candied cherries, chopped
1/2 lb. green candied cherries, chopped
8 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
5 eggs
1 c. butter or 2 sticks margarine
1/4 to 1/2 c. orange juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add flour and spices together, then add flour and orange juice alternately.
Mix well. Add fruit and nuts. Chill overnight.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Makes 300 cookies.
