Ricotta Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

yellow cake mix without pudding in the mix
2 lb. Ricotta cheese
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
pie filling
Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix cake as directed; pour into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix until smooth the Ricotta, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Pour mixture over the cake batter evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
When cool, top with pie filling and Cool Whip.
