Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    24 Ritz crackers
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Peel onions and slice into rings. Saute sliced onions in the butter for 15 to 20 minutes or until clear.
    Put half of the onions into a casserole.
    Top with half of the crumbs and sprinkle with the cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 325\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes.
