Franklin Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 lb. candied cherries (1/2 lb. red and 1/2 lb. green)
    1 lb. candied pineapple (1/2 lb. red and 1/2 lb. green)
    4 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. lemon
Preparation
    Reserve 1 cup of flour to roll nuts and fruit in before adding to other ingredients.
    Mix well the first 4 ingredients.
    Add fruit and nut mixture, mixing well.
    Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for
    3 hours in tube pan.
