Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches broccoli (flowerets and tender stems)
    1/2 c. white raisins
    1 small red onion, slivered
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Prepare broccoli in bite-size pieces, slicing stems thin.
    Add onions and raisins.
    Heat vinegar.
    Dissolve sugar; add mayonnaise and beat until smooth.
    Pour over vegetables and refrigerate for several hours.
    Sprinkle bacon in and stir just before serving.
