Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1/2 lb. American cheese
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    small amount of pepper
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard or 1 tsp. prepared spicy mustard
    1 small to medium onion
    small amount butter or oil
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots.
    Cook with small amount of sugar, about 1 tablespoon for 15 minutes.
    Drain in saucepan.
    Grate onion in butter or oil and cook about 1 minute.
