Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    8 oz. whipped topping
    2 c. diced apples
    1 1/2 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; save juice.
    Mix marshmallows and pineapple. Refrigerate overnight.
    Mix pineapple juice, vinegar, flour and egg; heat until thick.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, mix thickened sauce with whipped topping.
    Add to pineapple mixture, then add diced apple and nuts.
