Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans French green beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans baby peas
    2 (16 oz.) cans white Shoe Peg corn
    2 (4 oz.) jars pimentos
    2 c. celery
    2 c. red onion
    2 cans water chestnuts
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
