Asparagus Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. salt
dash of ground nutmeg
dash of pepper
1 1/2 qt. milk
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, cooked, drained and diced
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
paprika
shredded Cheddar cheese or grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Melt butter and blend in flour, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Add asparagus and 3 cups Cheddar cheese and continue to stir until cheese melts.
