French Fried Almond Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 large fresh shrimp in shells (about 1 lb.)
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground coriander
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3/4 c. (3 oz.) finely ground blanched almonds
Preparation
    Peel shrimp without removing tail and last joint of tail. Remove vein.
    Combine dry ingredients; coat shrimp.
    Chill. Combine eggs and oil.
    Dip shrimp in egg mixture, then into almonds.
    Fry in hot oil (375\u00b0) for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Serve with your choice of soy sauce, duck sauce and/or melted butter.
    Makes 24 appetizers.
