Lemon Ice Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    4 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and 1 egg white together.
    Add salt, sugar and lemon juice. Cook in double boiler until thick (cool).
    Beat and add the two remaining egg whites.
    Whip the cream and add.
    Place half of the vanilla wafers in refrigerator tray. Add lemon mixture and top with remaining vanilla wafers. Freeze.
    Cut and serve with whipped cream and cherries.
