Peppermint Crunches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. coarsely ground peppermint sticks
    1 c. cut up nuts
Preparation
    Put milk, sugar and syrup in saucepan.
    Cook until mixture boils and is bubbly on top.
    Boil and stir 2 minutes more.
    Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Add candy and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Drop onto waxed paper and chill.
