Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
3 to 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp. butter
2 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Add ingredients in order given, adding butter to milk.
Fold in egg whites and cook in covered casserole in pan of water 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
