Oat And Apple Morning Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Streusel Topping (recipe follows)
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. skim milk or milk
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 egg
    2 c. finely chopped, peeled cooking apples
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Lightly grease 18 muffin cups or line with paper bake cups; set aside.
    Prepare the Streusel Topping.
    In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda. In another bowl, stir together the milk, sugar, oil and egg.
    Stir in the apples.
    Add to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.
    Stir in raisins.
    Fill prepared muffin pan cups with batter.
    Sprinkle Streusel Topping over the muffin batter.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until done.
    Makes 18 muffins.
